Purchase both the Maytag washer and dryer about 2 weeks ago. Been going through some issues lately with the washer having excessive vibration the one thing I did not like as well with the Maytag front load washer was that the door cannot be swapped from left to right like all the other manufacturers and models like Samsung and so on. Possibly looking to return for a different manufacturer front loader.

Have had my new appliances for about a month. The controls were easy to learn and offers all the choices for my multi-needs for laundry. Lots of compliments from friends and family when they view my new set. My old Maytag lasted 20 years and I know this one will be just as dependable.

I purchased a new set of Maytag's in April 2019. Up to that point, I NEVER had a repairman called for service. The Maytag set I replaced was 16 years old and still operating. I have had so many calls for service on both the new washer and dryer that I have lost count. The only good recommendation I have would be the warranty from Maytag (so far) and the excellent service technician from Appliance Express in Georgetown, Tx.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago but waited to see if the issue with the loud spinning was due to unevenness when it was installed before reviewing. Lowes came out for the third time yesterday. If the spin speed is set at one of the first two settings, it is not too loud, but set on three or four, it is much louder than the 9 year old Whirlpool it replaced. They leveled it yesterday and hopefully it will do better. It seems to do a good job of cleaning the laundry. Time will tell.

We purchased a new home and needed a new washer and dryer, from past experience we chose Maytag. We are happy with this choice. The only thing I wish was the door on the washer could have been reversed. Plumbing required the dry to be on the left and washer on the right so clothes have to be taken out and put in next to the wall.

Just got this machine a week ago, started leaking within one week, had repairman come to my house and said if he can't see the leak he can't fix it. Next time it leaked I looked under the machine and found water coming from the back of the tub.

I bought this washer because it said it was "commercial" grade and because Maytag is American made and supposedly a good brand. The first washer I brought home leaked during the first load. I returned it to the store for a replacement. The second washer has always made weird noises during the wash cycles(dryer does too;very squeaky). Fast forward a month and it just leaked in my floor again! The load after the leaky load didn't drain properly and were still soaking wet. Not sure what my next load will be like! Pray for this to be a fluke. I was so happy to get a new set and now regret this purchase. I've used the 12 hour refresh cycle once for a load of towels and they still smelled soured after only a few hours after the initial wash. The boost cycle works well but seems to make everything shake and rattle a little too much.
Mine are stacked and the kit didn't properly fit this model(even though it was supposed to). My husband had to fiddle with it for an hour or so and still wasn't happy with the way it holds the dryer.

We bought this washer 2 months ago and are very happy with it. The first thing we noticed is it is extremely quiet. It's hard to tell it is even running. It does an excellent job of cleaning the clothes. The spin cycle is very effect and the clothing comes out of the machine barely damp, which has reduced the time in the dryer

Washer: I have had the washer/dryer combo for about 3-4 months. The washer is very squeaky when the drum is turning. Sometimes on both appliances, you have to depress the 3 second countdown twice before the appliance turns on.
Sometimes the dryer spins for long periods and doesn't wash. You have to turn it off and back on, then run the cycle again.

This thing is not efficient. it takes a minimum of 52 mins to do a load of normal wash. if you put it on heavy soil then it's at 1hr 36 min. and if you use the quick wash it sets it at 20 mins on heavy soil. The worst part is that when it goes down to 1 minute on the count down it takes another 5 minutes before it's finished. This thing is anything but energy efficient. what a joke

I purchased the washer and the dryer about 6 weeks ago. I have a big family and have gone through 2 washers in the last 8 years of a brand I will never buy again. This one cleans well, and the quick wash has been a godsend. It's not really quiet per say, but not super loud. ( not a requirement in my household) The cycle times vary with the sensor technology so the time listed on the washer may not be the time it takes to finish, but I particularly love the spin choices that gets some of the t-shirts practically dry where I can just hang dry pretty quickly without worrying about shrinking them in the dryer. So far so good!

We had a matching pair of washer and dryer (Maytag) for about 14 years, moved them twice, and, they never needed repairs. Last week we gave them to a charity and purchased a new, more modern set. They have performed very well with one problem. Both have adjustable cycle signals which we could not hear from an adjacent room. After resetting them numerous times and checking with Maytag, we were told no louder settings are possible. This greatly reduces our ability to prevent wrinkling since we are unable to know when the cycle has ended. Should have bought the units with wifi!

I have had this for a week. I have to admit that the last thing I wanted to do was buy a washer and dryer last week but when my Samsung washer and dryer went out on the same weekend, after years of repairs, we decided it's time to bite the bullet and get a new set. Of course, Samsung was NOT an option. My new Maytag set has a sleek design and works great. The washer is quiet and it has a quick wash to takes as little as 15 minutes. I am very happy with my purchase and hope we have years left in the set.
